Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1KCHOKLUHW01R I have been looking for something different, something fun, but also something that gives a fantastic full-body work-out. I found it all in the Trikke, especially the T-78 Deluxe with its redesigned handlebars, all air tires, sporty fantastic looks, and a nice color.

I have had the Trikke for one week and I have used it every night – it is very addicting. It is not unusual for me to ride for several hours.

There certainly is a learning curve. I spent the first 2 nights riding in front of my house trying to get the movements right to make it go. Even if not hard to make it roll, there is some practice looked-for to make it go quick and fluid. Though, regardless of my experience amount, I still got a work-out.

The video is of me on Day 3 – still learning and practicing. Since then my abilities have greatly increased and I am now riding all over the city and picking up real excellent speed on the flats. Uphill is still a small hard, but getting simpler.

I highly recommend the Trikke, especially the T78 Deluxe model. In my area, I must be either the only one or one of the few that owns a Trikke. As I ride around the city I consistently hear, “Nice Scooter”, “What is That?”, “That’s Cool”, “Can I ride It?”, “Does That Really Work?!”- I just keep carving on as people stare in awe. Even if it looks very graceful and natural once you get the hang of it, it is one fantastic work-out. When I am done riding, I am always sodden in sweat, but it was fun.

So if, like me, you despise the back and butt pain of bike-riding, don’t like the impact of jogging or running, and want something different that is also fun… well the Trikke is the real deal and it really works.

As to the delivery, I ordered through Amazon on the 26th and the distributor had it delivered to me on the 29th as a free ordinary delivery. So for me, Lifestyle Sports really delivered a fantastic manufactured goods and had it to me very quickly.

I bought the other similar vehicle at “half the price” and had to send it back due missing parts, terrible weld and overall poor quality. The other brand was such a disappointment, especially after waiting a month due to late delivery.

I bought this one, got it out of the box and noted the significance in high quality. It came on time and I place it together in 10-min. I am 46 with terrible knees and can not run anymore so this is one way I can keep up with my wife (a marathon runner) without provoking knee surgery. The riding motion is a bit awkward, similar to downhill snow skiing but works the core, legs and arms. Once you get use to it (10-15 min), its a lot fun. I look forward to small breaks where I can take it out (even for 5-min) and will be scootering with my kids and doing a longer ride this weekend. The T78-Deluxe (steel version) is only 2-lbs heavier than the T8-Air (aluminum) (25 vs 23 lbs), so at my amount it is a better value. I would certainly buy this again.

Where to commence. OMG, I ordered my trikke T78 Deluxe a Monday, it was delivered on Friday that same week. Thank you Amazon for your prompt shipping.

All I had to do was snap on the front wheel, tighten a bolt. Then place on the handlebars (for that I did need some help, ’cause the instructions were for a model with different handlebars than the T78 Deluxe and I had by no means place handlebars previously on anything…ever). A call to Trikke Tech 15 minutes before their closing time, got me the clarifiction I looked-for. The handlebars were installed and the young man giving me tech support and I got off the buzz with time to emergency and he could leave work on time. Thank you Trikke Tech for helping this female.

Next I had to run over to a bicycle shop to get air in my tires, I did not have a tire pump with a pressure guage.

I had this small gizmo for 2 full days before I got a chance to take it out for a test drive. The first time I had it out to ride it, I stood on it for a full 35 minutes powerless to get it to go. I might add I was stubbornly refusing to “kick off”. Here is a hint: DO NOT initiation out by trying to learn on an incline. Either find yourself a long, gentle downhill slope or a flat surface.

Once I change locations, wah lah and eureka! With only about 20 minutes left I got to have some, allbeit slow-going, fun. But I learned a “sweet spot” in making forward momentum.

I got to truly ride it for a bit more than an hour the following day…..what a fantastic work out…..and I was exhilerated, hooked, and tired. It was fantastic!

The third ride I only had about 10 minutes…then two days of close to 20 minutes to ride. None of these were as excellent as the 2nd time I got to ride it.

Now today my 5th ride…..I had 40 minutes. It was key. I was able to go up some hills and all around my neighborhood (of course, strategically training it so I was not going uphill the whole way). I rode for about 4 miles.

This is such a hoot. I would heartily recommend the T78 Deluxe. Do your research, get a trikke that is size appropriate for you, be determined that if a name else can ride one of these, so can you! If you get a trikke and need help in getting it moving, there’s all kinds of help online. If you know a name who rides one, it may help you get going quicker than I did if you can at least watch them ride for a bit.

The 3-wheeled platform gives the rider stability, the rubber tires are excellent for traction and give a soft ride. I am so glad I got a model with rubber tires!

I was very tentative and thought about making this buy for about a month or so before I bit the bullet. It has been a fantastic buy for me.

I researched several other brands, I liked the way this company makes their 3-wheeled cambering vehicles.

If you get one, I hope to see your review here, too. I look forward to reading about how much fun you are having on your trikke.

I received my trikke and had my spouse help me place it together. I have been riding it now for 2 weeks and in all honesty you must be patient as it is a learned skill to figure out how to make it go. Once you find your sweet spot as they call it, it’s a lot of fun! Not sure how much winter riding I’ll get done in the New england winter but can’t wait for jump.

The Trikke is an innovative device that is somewhat like a scooter and a Ripstick. Forward motion is done via swerving left and right in a excellent rhythm. It gives quite a workout once you get the hang of it. The only complaint I have is the price which runs in the $300 range. I was able to get this Trikke at $74 cheaper than from the Vendor site thanks to Amazon. If you are looking for a new workout leisure activity, have superfluous money and would use it to get around then I recommend buying a Trikke, if not it’s cheaper going with a Ripstick or Scooter or you could really buy both for the price of a Trikke.
